Last weekend marked a very exciting milestone for Belle Enfant. We exhibited at our first ever trade show, Bubble London. Bubble London runs twice yearly in January and June, and is the only standalone children’s trade event in the UK.

On Saturday morning we took up position at stand D9 and set about prepping our stand. We started with our signature grey backdrop. Then set about making our little space look really beautiful with lots of pastel coloured blooms displayed in miniature milk bottles. The Spring scent of the narcissus was divine. We unpacked and hung and steamed our garments and dressed our little mannequin in an outfit of charcoal grey Laurie leggings and a blush silk Celine blouse, topped off with a Laurie pompom hat and scarf. We couldn’t forget our mascot Pierre, who looked very handsome standing proud, atop the shelf!

We arrived at the show on Sunday morning and did some last minute prepping before the doors were opened to the public at 9.30 am. The next 2 days went by in a flurry. We barely got a chance to have a cup of tea or think about our tired feet as we met with lots of lovely buyers, bloggers, journalists and fellow exhibitors. The highlights were meeting Courtney from Babyccino Kids with lovely baby Marlow looking angelic asleep in her sling, the uber glam Suki, of Kidstylejunkie who was very complimentary of our stand design and not forgetting the lovely journo’s Linda and Catherine from Junior and Laura from CWB magazine. It was very flattering to get such a positive reaction to the brand and gave us a real boost.We also made follow up appointments with a number of key buyers so watch this space, Belle Enfant will soon be arriving in a boutique near you!
